Lakeway Christian Academy is proud to announce that eight senior Lions have officially committed to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. During
Wednesday's National Signing Day ceremony, surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and classmates, these Lions celebrated years of dedication, discipline, and excellence.
The following student-athletes signed their letters of Intent:
• Sam Comes – Wrestling, United States Air Force Academy
• Ellison Deghetto – Swimming, Florida Southern
• Darby Felts - Volleyball, East Tennessee State University
• McKinley Grubb – Softball, Roane State Community College
• Avery Ramey – Softball, Appalachian State
• Riley Reed – Golf, Carson-Newman University
• Allie Thomas – Soccer, Roane State Community College
• Zach Voiles – Golf, Lincoln Memorial University
Athletic Director, Megan Leuzinger, praised the student-athletes for their commitment both on and off the field.
"We are thrilled to celebrate our eight athletes who have officially signed to continue their athletic careers at the next level! What an incredible honor and privilege it is to represent Lakeway Christian Academy and ultimately, the Lord, through their gifts and hard work," she said. "We can't wait to see how God continues to use them both on the field and in the classroom as they embark on this next chapter."
National Signing Day is a milestone moment for student-athletes across the country, marking the culmination of countless hours of training, perseverance, and teamwork.
Lakeway Christian Academy is honored to celebrate this group of seniors as they take the next step in their athletic journeys.
