PERSONAL BIO
Courtney graduated from Jefferson Co. High School, in Dandridge, TN where she was a two-sport athlete playing softball and volleyball. She led the softball team as captain to the TSSAA state softball tournament, first in school history. She received numerous honors in both sports during her high school career. Courtney earned an athletic and academic scholarship to play middle infield for the D1 NJCAA Walters State Lady Senators where she received all conference honors.
Courtney earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Tusculum College in 2004 and in 2008 completed her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction also from Tusculum College. She used her degree to educate students for 17 years. The last five years working in education, she used her experience and leadership skills to present and lead teachers at education conferences, during professional development, and served as a lead teacher.
In 2022 Courtney began her career at Lakeway Christian Academy in the athletic department. As an associate athletic director, she ensures that student-athletes and coaches have everything they need to be part of a successful program. She enjoys establishing meaningful relationships with coaches, students, parents, spectators, and volunteers. Courtney is known for the passion she puts into the athletic department and being involved in all students’ athletic events. After school if she is not on or by a field/court, you can find her working in the concession stand.
Courtney is married to Joe Naill and they have two children, Aubree and Jude.
